It is with a mixture of gratitude and heavy hearts that we announce the closure of De Garve Micro Brewery.
Since 2007, De Garve has proudly held the title of the first micro-brewery in Vanderbijlpark. What began as Patrick’s passion for home brewing transformed into a family-run craft brewery built behind our home — a place where tradition, dedication, and love for beer came together in every handcrafted batch.
From the brew house to the bottle, every step was touched by our hands: Patrick at the helm of brewing and sharing our creations, and Goedele managing the care behind the scenes with packaging, purchasing, and finances. Together, we poured our hearts into building something unique — not just a business, but a community built on shared passion and great beer.
As life leads us into new chapters, we want to sincerely thank everyone who supported us over the years. Whether you shared a pint with us, stocked our bottles, or simply believed in our dream, you’ve played a meaningful role in the De Garve story.
